Bright blue-gray blades grow 24-30" and produce stiff, upright, flower spikes that turn buff in late summer. Spreads vigorously by rhizomes, filling in large areas quickly and may require containment. Useful for planting in areas affected by wind, salt air and sandy soils along the mid-Atlantic coast. Tolerant of seasonal clean up by mowing at winter's end. Plant 18" apart.

Love my blue dune grass! Beautiful color, great nursery

I bought the blue dune plants in winter. The nursery is always super fast to ship orders: I placed several orders and always got the packages within two days (they ship from MD). The plants are always carefully packaged and all my blue dune woke up from dormancy. They were very green on arrival, but they turned very blue with the full sun exposure.

Love them blue grasses! The blue matches pretty well with my Wichita Blue Junipers and my Horstmann Blue Atlas Cedar.

Note that they do spread very easily, so keep an eye out and remove anything you don't like, they do sneak below cardboard/mulch and can extend pretty far.

simultaneously purchased plants through perennial and another well known plant supplier. Nice sized plants, came extremely quickly and were healthy. Some of the plants from the other website still had not come and I ordered the plants from perennial and they came three days later. These people are serious about satisfying their customers.Did not have any problems, so I can not say anything about customer service. Highly recommend.
