A low-growing, late-blooming shrub that reaches a height of only 2–3', with clusters of deepest dark blue flowers from August through September.  The foliage is lance-shaped and silvery-green. Will attract flocks of butterflies! Combine with Aster 'October Skies' and Chrysanthemum nipponicum. Plant 24" apart.
