This friendly giant is loved by bees and butterflies and discourages deer and rabbit browsing. Impressive lavender-purple 6” round flower clusters top 3-4’ stems in late May to June. A great companion to peonies, roses, garden sage and catmint or simply plant in swathes in the mixed border. Plant in well-drained soil.  Plant 18” apart.
