Deep maroon-purple buds open into single, violet blooms perfuming the air and inviting butterflies and hummingbirds. A profuse, early bloomer, you will have plenty of flowers clusters for cutting and bring indoors. This deciduous shrub grows 8-10’ and has open upright branches covered in bright green heart-shaped leaves that stay attractive all summer. Beautiful as a specimen plant or when planted in small groups or a flowering hedge. Plant 8’ apart.
