Plant came exactly as described, and in beautiful condition. Everything was packaged well that no damage at all could have occurred during shipping! I've had it in the ground for about a month now, and it's growing beautifully. Can't wait to see it bloom!

Received my plant about a month ago. It was packed amazingly well. It was much larger and healthier looking then ones I have purchased from another place. Will be purchasing more plants from Perennial Farm Marketplace!

Prairie Dog Switchgrass

Ordered 4 gallon containers of the Prairie Dog Switchgrass to add to 5 existing plants around a utility box privacy fence we are extending. We got the original plants 2 years ago at a local garden store, but they no longer carry the Prairie Dog variety. We were a little concerned about ordering them so late (mid-June), but the nursery office assured us they would be fine using standard shipping. They arrived in excellent shape in 5 days, in a heavy duty ventilated shipping box with plenty of paper cushioning and a fibrous covering over the soil to retain moisture. We followed the directions about keeping them outside for a few days to acclimatize before planting, and they are already putting out new growth. So we are hopeful about the long term. Our existing plants have doubled in size each of the two years, so it will take these plants awhile to catch up.
