The Arctic Blaze® series boasts hardiness to zone 6 and strong stems that do not break easily. Cherry-red blooms appear from May to frost on loose, upright foliage with small medium green leaves. The shrubby foliage grows 24” tall and 36” wide. Salvia greggii is sometimes classified as a sub shrub and is native to Texas. With a Texas heritage, it is no wonder that it prefers dryish soil and full sun. Plant 18" apart. PP#28620
