Dense, mounding foliage grows 16-18" tall and holds its shape in the full sun border. Use in mass plantings for a wave of the violet-blue flower spikes that bloom from summer into fall.  A good choice for well-drained dryish soils.   PP#25639.  Plant 18" apart.
