A main green rosette (Hen) has fine white hairs that are called cilia emerge just from its leaf tips. This variety has a ‘jade’ green base but gets flushes of burgundy, burnt red, and mauve colors throughout the year, especially later in the season when it becomes cooler. In winter, the shorter days trigger the whole rosette turn a rich lavender. Grows wider that it does taller at under 3”, the average diameter can get from 5 – 6” across. Plant 6 - 10" apart.
