Upright and unusually tall to 8’, the gray-green basal leaves reach 2-3’ with the inflorescences providing the sculptural form from the time they appear in mid-summer. Prefers cool climates but will tolerate heat and humidity if kept moist. Foliage turns rich golden-yellow in fall. Plant 48” apart.
