Bring the tropics to your patio with this hardy banana know to survive -20 degree temperatures. Large paddle-shape medium green leaves reach up to 15-20’ forming an umbrella-like canopy. Plants will need consistent moisture and some protection from strong winds. In zone 5 & 6, plants grown in the ground should be cut back after the first frost, wrapped in burlap, and provided heavy mulch. Plant 10-15’ apart.
